Inside the home
This 1895 two-storey in Holmedale has been selectively updated where it counts. The kitchen is fully redone — white shaker cabinets, quartz counters, subway tile, and stainless appliances. Two of the three bathrooms have been renovated, including a sharp upper bath with floating walnut vanity and brass fixtures and a new ensuite off the primary. The rest of the house keeps its original character: hardwood floors on both levels, crown moulding, arched doorways, and a staircase with the original newel post. The main-floor bathroom is the one holdout — 1950s yellow tile and chinoiserie wallpaper, and it will need a full renovation. The basement is full but unfinished. No garage, just a side driveway. The backyard is fenced with a wood deck and a painted shed. Four bedrooms, though the fourth is quite small.
