Inside the home
Built in 1880, this two-storey yellow brick Victorian has survived well over a century with its bones largely intact — carved newel post, arched millwork doorways, cast iron radiators, and original hardwood floors that have been refinished to a high standard. The exposed interior brick in the kitchen area is genuine, not decorative. The home currently functions as two units with a second kitchen and bathroom on the upper floor, a separate side entry, and the main floor laid out as a self-contained unit with a primary bedroom, living room, full bath, and large kitchen. A legal duplex conversion appears realistic based on the existing layout. Both kitchens and bathrooms are dated and would benefit from updating. The basement is unfinished utility space. Major mechanical items have been addressed — new roof (2019), windows (2022), and boiler burner (2023). Radiant hot water heat throughout; no central air.
